Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur or Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is a local authority which administrates Kuala Lumpur city centre and other areas in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.

History

Kuala Lumpur was granted a city status on 1 February 1972. And two years later, it became the Federal Territory of Malaysia on 1st February 1974.

Since Kuala Lumpur was the Federal Territory of Malaysia from 1 February 1974, the city has been led by eight mayors. They are:
