Information about LGBT rights in Papua New Guinea

Homosexuality is prohibited according to section 210 of the penal code. Those caught engaging in anal sex can get punished with up to 7 years imprisonment.[1] This also applies to heterosexual "offenders". Other homosexual acts (acts of indecency) can be punished with up to 3 years imprisonment.[2]
