Endnotes

4. ^ See the sources for conflicting informations at the article "Salcantay".
5. ^ It was established that a typo in INEI 2005, op. cit., wrongly attributes the three Cordillera Vilcabamba items to a second "Cordillera Vilcanota": the list has 11 peaks for a Cordillera Vilcanota which is 80 km long, in decreasing heights from "Ausangate 6,384" to "Yayamari 6,000", followed by 3 more peaks for a second "Cordillera Vilcanota" now 100 km long, and going up in height to "Salcantay 6,271" followed with "Pumasillo 6,070 - Lasunayoc 6,000" back to decreasing order. Discarding the typo is compatible with all other sources, such as Peakbagger.com or Encarta/Spanish, which set those last three peaks in Cordillera Vilcabamba.
