Marcin Knackfus (before 1742-after 1821) was a
Polish architect, notable for his numerous
Neoclassical buildings in
Vilnius,
Lithuania. Among them is the famous astronomical observatory there (1782-1786), the internal design of the main buildings of the
Academy of Wilno (the predecessor of the Vilnius University) and numerous other buildings, both private and public. He is also notable as the tutor of Laurynas Gucevičius.
