The Montreal City Council is the governing body of Montreal, Quebec.
It consists of the Mayor of Montreal and 63 elected city councillors, including borough mayors. Each borough elects their representatives differently. Some are elected at large throughout the borough, some are elected from districts. Unlike most Canadian cities, the City of Montreal has political parties.
