Information about Satoru Otomo
Satoru Otomo (大友哲), also Satoshi Otomo, is a Japanese astronomer. According to the Minor Planet Center, he is responsible for the discovery of 149 asteroids between 1991 and 1997, 15 of which were co-discoveries with Osamu Muramatsu. As of 1997, he was tied for 48th place with Tamara Mikhailovna Smirnova in the MPC's asteroid discovery listings.
